Matthew KriegerFounder and Managing Director
Matthew is the Founder and Managing Director of GKPR. Prior to founding GKPR, Matthew was the Deputy Managing Director of the Israel office of Finn Partners, where he led the company’s hi-tech practice, managing the accounts for numerous software, consumer technology, biotech, telecom and clean-tech companies. While at Finn Partners, Matthew also served as the Director of Communications for Altair Semiconductor, leading the company’s corporate, internal and marketing communications efforts.
Prior to joining Finn Partners, Matthew was a business and technology correspondent at The Jerusalem Post, where he covered Israel’s hi-tech sector, consumer technology and spending trends, the local VC industry, foreign investment in Israel, the stock exchange and the Bank of Israel.
Matthew has an MA in Education from Hebrew University and a BA in History from Yeshiva University.
Rachel GlaserVice President
Rachel is Vice President at GKPR. Prior to joining GKPR, Rachel was a Senior Associate in the Israel office of international PR firm Finn Partners, where she oversaw the daily account management for many of the office’s tech accounts.
Before joining Finn Partners, Rachel worked in the non-profit sector for 7 years and last served as a Project Manager at Nefesh B’Nefesh.
Rachel has an MA in Government and Security Studies from IDC Herzliya and a BA in International Relations from Boston University.
David ShamahJournalist in Residence
David Shamah is GK’s Journalist in Residence and has been writing about Israeli technology news for over a decade, both in print and on the web. He knows the Israeli tech scene and its start-ups inside out.
Before joining GK, David was editor of the tech section of the Times of Israel, covering the startup scene from funding to acquisitions.
Jordana WolfSenior Associate
Jordana is a Senior Associate at GKPR. Prior to joining the GK team, Jordana was a contributing writer at NoCamels Israeli Innovation News where she covered cutting-edge Israeli innovations, startups and research in the fields of technology, medicine, design and the environment.
Before joining NoCamels, Jordana worked as an elementary school teacher in New Orleans and New York after finishing Teach for America in 2008.
Jordana has an MA in Political Science and Communication from Tel Aviv University, an MA in Education from Pace University, and a BA in Political Science and History from Tulane University
Tamar ShmaryahuSenior Associate
Tamar Shmaryahu is a Senior Associate at GKPR. Prior to joining the team, Tamar worked at an early stage start up company as a content writer and served in the IDF as an international organizations liaison in the Southern West Bank.
Tamar has prior experience in public relations, journalism and media relations and holds a BS in Marketing from Yeshiva University.
Don CohenSenior Associate
Don is a Senior Associate at GKPR. Prior to joining the GK team, Don served in the department of Foreign Affairs and International Media at the office of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.
Prior to moving to Israel, Don worked at the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, where he was the Program Director of Israel & International Affairs and the Celebrate Israel Parade. Don also managed a research team at New York State Psychiatric Institute.
Don holds a BS in Psychology from New York University.
Tiki is an Associate at GKPR. Prior to joining the GK team, Tiki volunteered for a year of National Service at a special needs school in Jerusalem. Tiki has held various leadership roles, in both a professional and volunteer capacity. Tiki has represented Israel on a delegation to Europe, served as a Division Head at a Jewish summer camp, and completed the Center for International Communication Public Diplomacy Workshop
Tiki has been part of the GK family since joining the team as an intern while completing her undergraduate degree in Communications and Linguistics from Bar Ilan University.
Yael is an Associate at GKPR. Before she joined the team, Yael was the Creative Coordinator and Copywriter at Netboost Media, an online marketing company in Israel, where she wrote and edited many of the company’s websites, created marketing materials, press releases and blogs.
Yael has a Graduate Certificate with High Honors in Corporate Communications from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario, and a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Before moving to Israel in 2013, Yael worked in Marketing and Communications at Mount Sinai Hospital.
When Yael isn’t chasing media opportunities, you can find her in the studio leading Zumba and TRX classes.
Emanuelle is an Associate at GKPR. Before joining the team at GK, Emanuelle was a Content Editor and PR Coordinator at FashionTV, a TV channel that focuses mainly on runway shows, big name models & designers as well as fashion lifestyle.
Emanuelle also holds an an MA from Tel Aviv University in Middle Eastern Studies, a certificate degree in Political Science from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and a BA in Journalism and International Relations from Boston University, which she completed in 2012.
Nechama RubackCommunity Manager
Nechama is a community manager at GKPR. Prior to joining GKPR, Nechama was a community manager and graphic designer at Kosher Casual, an international clothing company based in Israel, where she administered all social media operations.
Previously, Nechama worked at Life.VU, an Israel-based start-up, as the customer relations manager. She successfully grew the company’s social media presence, which allowed her to substantially expand Life.VU’s affiliate network, resulting in an ongoing revenue stream.
Nechama holds a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from Michlelet Emuna.
Zev BrodskyCommunity Manager
Zev is the community manager at GKPR. Zev, an avid follower of the food scene in Tel Aviv, is the creator and author of the highly successful food blog, Tel Aviv Affordable Dining.
Prior to joining GKPR, Zev was the social media manager at WannaBiz,a startup that provides small businesses with easy to use marketing tools. Zev successfully promoted their mobile application to thousands of businesses in Europe and North America.
In addition, Zev was the social media manager at JICNY, a New York based non-profit organization that provides young Jewish professionals in the New York area with different events and social opportunities. Zev was responsible for the marketing and publicizing of the events for the organization.
Zev holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from IDC Herzliya.
Noam is an Associate at GKPR. Hailing originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, Noam was educated at Yeshiva University where he graduated with a BA in Political Science. Upon graduation, and prior to joining the GKPR team, Noam joined the IDF where he served in the Givati Brigade as a combat soldier.
